AbOUT ME

Growing up in Long Island, New York, I announced to my mother one summer that I decided I wanted to go to theater camp at the local Jewish community center. She asked me why. I didn’t actually know why, I just had a very persistent feeling that wouldn’t leave me alone. That persistent feeling eventually led me to the Hartt School, a rigorous program of classical training, where I earned my BFA. When I graduated, I landed in New York City and found myself doing short films, commercials, and experimental theater in the basement of churches (highlights: a Planned Parenthood PSA, and indie horror short, a new works festival through VOICEtheater).I eventually took a detour from the industry, a chapter that found me living in Tampa and running a department at a tech start-up (yes, really). Now I’m back in the city, my home, where I’ve spent the last few months working in voiceover, theater and film, taking classes (on camera at Matt Newton’s studio) and developing new work. These days, I’m interested in creative collaboration, truthful storytelling, and taking big swings.
